Prix fixe – a set menu at a set price – may or may not be a good idea, depending on the restaurant in question. In foodie-friendly Palm Beach this summer, there is no question it is a good thing. During the Palm Beach Restaurant Summer 2010 promotion, you can wander into several of the island’s culinary hotspots and find three-course, prix fixe menus for lunch and/or dinner. The price stays the same – $20.10 per person for lunch and $35 per person for dinner – but each restaurant and bistro will be showcasing their own unique specialties. A tasty tour of Palm Beach dining without maxing out the credit card? For me it may end up being the Summer of Love Handles. For specific menu details, seating schedules and more, contact each restaurant directly. Participating restaurants include oceanfront resorts as well as some of my favorite independents. Bon appétit!
